The Story Behind the Design

This design was colored up by my son, Waylon, when he was just 8 years old. One day he grabbed a piece of paper and started sketching three crosses with a big smiley face. Then, with all the confidence an eight-year-old can have, he said, “It needs paint splatters!”

And honestly… what kid doesn’t think everything is better with paint flying everywhere?

We loved that his idea wasn’t about making everything neat and perfect—it was colorful, playful, and full of joy, just like childhood itself.

This shirt is a celebration of childlike faith, messy creativity, and the simple truth that Jesus loves us more than we could ever imagine. We hope every kid who wears it remembers that following Jesus is filled with hope, joy, and a whole lot of fun.

After all, sometimes the greatest reminders of God’s love come from the smallest artists.
